The Augustana University Office of Advancement, located on the third floor of the Administration Building, concentrates its efforts in the areas of university strategy, development, annual and planned giving, alumni relations and event services.
The Office of Advancement also has a dedicated staff member serving alumni and friends in the greater Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

The Augustana University Theatre Department presents “She Kills Monsters,” a high-octane dramatic comedy by acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen. Directed by Augustana alumnus Jeff Larson ‘16, the production runs from Thursday, April 16, through Sunday, April 19, at the Augustana University Theatre.
Sponsored by Nyberg’s ACE, Augustana University will once again host Ace’s Painting Party on Sunday, April 26, from 3-5 p.m. — an annual tradition that allows area community members to paint the ice at Midco Arena. This year, the Augustana Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be putting on the event, which will provide an opportunity for Augustana’s student-athletes and the community to come together to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Augustana University will soon be home to one of the first hockey cheer programs in South Dakota. Augustana Hockey Cheer will officially be added to the university’s list of club sports offerings in Fall 2026 and will support its NCAA Division I Viking Hockey Team and potentially, its club hockey teams during home games at Midco Arena.
