  • Students Take Home Honors at ACS National Meeting

    Junior Bailey Jackson and senior Neal Gregerson were honored and Augustana’s Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) was recognized at the ACS National Meeting held recently in San Diego, Calif.

  • Upcoming Season of 'Time Team America' to Feature Dr. Adrien Hannus

    Dr. Adrien Hannus, professor of anthropology and director of the Archeology Laboratory at Augustana, will participate in the second season of "Time Team America," a science-reality series from PBS that sends archaeologists on a race against time to excavate historic sites around the nation.

  • 346 to Participate in 2012 Commencement

    Three-hundred and forty-six students will participate in the commencement ceremony honoring the class of 2012, set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, at the Sioux Falls Arena. Doors will open at 1 p.m. for seating.

  • May 17: Syttende Mai Celebrations

    On Thursday, May 17, Syttende Mai celebrations — commemorating Norwegian Constitution Day — will feature exhibits, Norwegian food and games at First Lutheran Church in Downtown Sioux Falls.

  • Through May 19: Senior Art Show on Display in Eide/Dalrymple

    Graduating art students will present their Senior Show through May 19 at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. On exhibit will be a wide variety of works including ceramics, sculptures, printmaking, paintings, drawings, digital photography and graphic design.

  • Through May 26: 'Interpretations of Wounded Knee' Exhibit on Display in CWS

    “Interpretations of Wounded Knee 1973 and 1890,” an exhibit commemorating the 40th anniversary of the occupation of Wounded Knee in 1973. The exhibition will be on display in the Madsen/Nelson/Elmen Galleries of the Center for Western Studies’ Fantle Building through May 26.
