The purpose of the Augustana University Center for Excellence in Teaching & Scholarship (CTS) is to facilitate workshops and collaborations to support the university’s work as a community of scholars, teachers and learners.
- The center showcases faculty development opportunities throughout Augustana University, partnering with the Stanley L. Olsen Chair of Moral Values, colleagues from the Mikkelsen Library, High Impact Practices Committee and Student Success Center to foster an inclusive, student-centered culture of teaching and scholarship.
- This center is part of Augustana’s strategic plan — Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030 — which innovates academic structures and centers that sustain excellence, facilitate growth, and cultivate impactful teaching, learning, and research.
