Jacee Casarella, MFA

Biography 

Jacee Casarella is an instructor and technical director in the Augustana Theatre Department, where she teaches tech and design classes, and runs The Scenic Shop. She also designs scenery and lights for campus productions. She has an MFA in scenic design from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a B.A. in technical theatre from South Dakota State University. Formerly, Casarella has worked for the South Bend Civic Theatre as its resident scenic designer and production manager and the Des Moines Metro Opera as its summer scenic charge artist. She has also designed for the Black Hills Playhouse, Prairie Repertory Theatre and Dakota Academy of Performing Arts.
