Biography 

Dr. Jeffrey S. Miller teaches numerous courses in the Augustana Journalism Program, including Editorial Skills, Sports Writing, Critical and Editorial Writing, and History of the American Press. He also teaches American Cinema and Contemporary Film and Aesthetics for the English Department, and regularly teaches the Reading Augustana course for the Civitas Honors Program, in addition to other Civitas courses. He is the author of Something Completely Different: British Television and American Culture, published in 2000 by the University of Minnesota Press. Miller was the recipient of the Frederick Kohlmeyer Distinguished Teaching Award in 2022, and was named the Augustana Student Association Professor of the Year in 2014.
