Biography
Dr. Kimberly Castle is a professor of physical therapy and director of the Augustana Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Minnesota. She earned a Ph.D. in kinesiology with an emphasis in motor behavior and is a board certified clinical specialist in pediatric physical therapy. Castle has extensive experience providing PT education and most recently served as the program director at the University of North Georgia and University of Wisconsin-La Crosse prior. Castle completed a research fellowship in the Motion Analysis Laboratory at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Her clinical and content expertise lies in pediatric and adult neurological physical therapy. Her research focuses on the influence of core control on children's motor function.
Castle splits her time between Dahlonega, Georgia, in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Lake Hartwell. She has five children and six grandchildren who live across the U.S. Castle and her husband, Kevin, love travel, music and the theater.
