Biography
Dr. Marianna Madeo earned a bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical chemistry & technology and Ph.D. in molecular biology and biochemistry from the Universita' della Calabria (Italy). She is a certified pharmacist in the Italian Board. Madeo's research interest has spanned from basic to translational research of rare neurodegenerative disease and cancer. She joined Augustana in 2023 as a visiting professor, and her research will focus on metabolic disorder.
