Medical Laboratory Science

Why medical laboratory science?

A major in medical laboratory science is for students who want to be a critical component in helping diagnose and detect conditions that impact human health and who love working in the laboratory.

  • The training for medical lab science is one of the fastest ways to translate hands-on laboratory experiences from Augustana and hospital affiliates into a stimulating vocation.
  • Students engage in the training and coursework required to enter this licensed profession.
