Through resources and support, the Augustana University Office of Student Engagement empowers students to become leaders of tomorrow. The Augustana Office of Student Engagement offers workshops, service- and experiential-learning opportunities that equip students with the skills needed to lead with confidence, integrity and vision. By becoming leaders, students can influence positive change, inspire others and make a meaningful impact in their community and beyond.

Serve
As one of Augustana University's five core values, service is a critical component of the AU experience, and there are many ways to get involved in the community.
- Service-learning at Augustana University means using time, talent and resources for the sake of the neighbor. It requires active reflection and enhances students’ sense of personal values and civic responsibility.
- All student organizations have an element of service within them, such as Serving & Learning Together (SALT), which manages the Teen Town gift drive.
- Augustana participates in the Martin Luther King Day of Service challenge each year.
Lead
Augustana students are leaders in the classroom and in campus organizations.
- Student Engagement hosts weekly “Lunch & Learn” sessions every Wednesday during the lunch hour. Each session will allow students to learn new skills and expand their ability to lead.
- Students lead with their strengths at Augustana, using their top five strengths in and out of the classroom.
- Students create a positive impact on campus in student government when elected to the Augustana Student Association (ASA).
