The Augustana University Office of Faith & Spiritual Life offers students many opportunities to grow in faith and serve the neighbor, which include:
- Bible Studies, such as Thursday Nights Together (TNT)
- Faith Fest
- Lenten Faith Partners
- Senior Sermons and a variety of speakers from the AU community
- Serving meals to those in need at The Banquet
- Worshiping with inmates at the South Dakota State Penitentiary
- Caring for the homeless with Church on the Street
- Leading bilingual ministry with Pueblo de Dios
- Service-learning trips, such as Pine Ridge Reservation, New York City, U.S./Mexico border
- Paid positions on Chapel Staff or Interfaith Council
- Email devotional
- Sharing musical gifts in worship
- Pre-seminary and vocational discernment
- Sophomore Retreat
- Interfaith Chai & Chat
- Visits to local faith communities
- Religious celebrations & observances (Ramadan, Diwali, Holi, Ash Wednesday, etc.)
Faith-Related Clubs
A number of student organizations are focused on faith and service. The following groups are organized by the Augustana Student Association (ASA):
- Augie Green — Advocates for care of the environment and sustainability
- Better Together — Develops, fosters and promotes interfaith dialogue on campus
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) — Hosts fellowship, praise and worship, as well as Bible study and speakers
- Serving and Learning Together (SALT) — Educates and informs about volunteer opportunities and brings students together to serve the Sioux Falls area community
