Incoming first-year student (I am a senior in high school)
Start your free application today! Applications from first-year students may be submitted upon completion of the student’s junior year of high school. The university sends the first offers of admission and academic scholarships in October and continues on a rolling basis thereafter. The next priority scholarship deadline is November 1. Students have the choice of two application options — a traditional option where the applicant submits a standardized test score and new option to apply "test-optional" where essay responses are submitted instead of a standardized test score:
Submitting test scores option
- Apply online using the Augustana online application form or using the Common Application.
- Submit results of your ACT (Augustana #3902) or SAT (Augustana #6015) scores
- High school transcript
Test optional option
- Apply online using the Augustana online application form or using the Common Application.
- Completing test-optional section questions in application
- High school transcript
Augustana evaluates students and makes admission decisions on a holistic basis. Our traditional application considers standardized test scores. Our test-optional application does not require standardized test scores. Both application methods consider grade point average, course selection, and contributions to candidates' communities.
