Dual Credit at Augustana
Augustana University provides a variety of opportunities for high school students seeking college-level course work while in high school. Students enrolled in dual credit courses can receive both high school and college credit by successfully completing approved courses. In doing so, students have the ability to better prepare for the transition to college, as well as earn credit at a reduced rate. This can lower the cost of a college education, as well as provide the potential of shortening the time it takes to complete a degree.
Augustana University is a fully accredited, four-year college located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Our accreditation, through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of College and Schools, means that credits are transferable to almost any school in the nation-including state universities and private colleges.
Students can complete Augustana courses through dual credit in their high school, or dual enrollment on Augustana’s campus or through online courses (summer only).
