    • Help Augustana kick off Viking Days 2024! A long-held homecoming tradition of lawn games, food and prizes! 

Tuesday, Sept. 23

  • Sailing Into Service  |  STUDENT, ALUMNI, COMMUNITY EVENT
    • 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. | Back Alley, Morrison Commons
    • Augustana will be giving back to the community by partnering with Augie Thrift to provide local animal shelters with handmade dog toys. Augie Brew & Gold will be providing drinks and snacks throughout duration of the event.

Wednesday, Sept. 24

  • Viking Feast  |  STUDENT, EMPLOYEE, RETIREE EVENT

    • Join us for a long held Viking Days tradition of enjoying a meal together at the Viking Feast, complete with the Augie Bowl and music from the Augustana Jazz Band, as well as inflatables, caricature artists and more!

    • Join Augustana at Coronation as the university crowns its Viking Days Royalty!

Thursday, Sept. 25

    • Student organizations will be building floats for the Viking Days Parade.

    • Alumni from class years ending in '0 and '5 are invited to come to campus with their friends and classmates! Elsie's caramel rolls, coffee and juice will be provided.
    • This event is free, but registration is encouraged.
  • Class of 1975 Nurses Gathering | 1975 ALUMNI EVENT
    • 9-10:30 a.m. | Froiland Science Complex | Joyce Nelson Room 264
    • Nursing graduates from the Class of 1975 are invited to gather and reminisce over coffee and rolls.

    • For alumni who are celebrating or have celebrated their 50th class reunion, with Augustana’s executive team to give an update on the many things happening around campus. Members of the Class of 1975 will be inducted into the Augustana Honor Guard. The Honorary Alumni Society induction will also take place

    • The Class of 1975 will gather to honor classmates who have passed away.

    • The class of 1975 will receive tours of campus from Augustana students.
    • This event is free, but registration is encouraged.

    • Augustana international students share presentations on their home countries. Hosted by the De & Dave Knudson Center for Global Engagement and Augustana International Club (AIC), this event is free and open to the public.

    • The Class of 1975 is invited to join their classmates and celebrate their 50th class reunion. Reunion memory books will be distributed at this event and the class will be invited to join in a class photo.

  • 'Hola Daniela, Hometown: Gracie Rothering ’22' Exhibition Reception & Gallery Talk | STUDENT, ALUMNI, COMMUNITY EVENT

Saturday, Sept. 27

    • The Augustana Advancement Office is hosting a favorite homecoming parade tradition — the pancake feed. Check out the Morrison Commons renovations; Starbuck's and Ole's Outlet will also be open.

    • Band alumni are welcome to participate with the Viking Marching Band for the tailgate performance and/or in the stands at the football game. Bring your instruments and meet at the Augieville tailgate area at 11:45 a.m.

    • To accommodate the parade, no parking will be allowed on the parade route effective 6 a.m. until the end of the parade. Please direct questions to Campus Safety at 605.274.4014.

  • Viking Days A-Club Tailgate  |  ALUMNI, COMMUNITY EVENT
    • 11 a.m. | Augieville (outside Kirkeby-Over Stadium)
    • All alumni, friends and family are welcome to join us before the big game.
    • Look out for the alumni tent, where you can connect with fellow alumni and enjoy a fantastic lunch!
    • A-Club members eat for free by showing their Viking Pass. The cost for non-members is $10 for adults, $5 for children (through 8th grade), payable at the tailgate.
  • Campus Learning Center 50th Anniversary Celebration | ALUMNI, COMMUNITY EVENT
    • Noon - 2 p.m. | Campus Learning Center | Located in Our Savior's Lutheran Church
    • Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Campus Learning Center (CLC) with light refreshments.

    • All choir alumni are invited to sing under the direction of Dr. Russell Svenningsen, director of the Augustana Choir, during Viking Days Worship on Sunday in the Chapel of Reconciliation.

  • Vikings Reunite & Alumni Achievement Awards  |  ALUMNI EVENT
    • 6-8:30 p.m. | Midco Arena
    • Calling all alumni! Vikings Reunite has been revamped and relocated to bring alumni back to campus and gather in Midco Arena. Alumni are invited to attend and enjoy light charcuterie and a cash bar inside JJ's Viking Club. At 7 p.m., a brief program will commence and recognize Augustana's 2025 Alumni Achievement Award recipients. Throughout the evening, the SKOL Shop will be open to purchase Augustana merchandise, as well as tours of Midco Arena.

Sunday, Sept. 28

    • Featuring the Augustana Choir and Augustana Orchestra, Rev. Ann Rosendale '04 and Rev. Shawna Day, campus pastors, will lead the Augustana community in worship.
