Augustana University student Andrew Kronaizl ‘23, of Vermillion, South Dakota, is a journalism and English major. He is interning at South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB) in downtown Sioux Falls, where he is reporting, as well as producing radio news stories.

Each year, Alumni Achievement Awards are presented to Augustana University alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their fields of endeavor, communities and/or churches. The Horizon Award recognizes young alumni who have graduated within the last 15 years and quickly demonstrated outstanding vocational achievement and provided faithful service to their community and/or church. The Augustana Research Institute (ARI) is seeking applications from eligible organizations to partner with the Beacom Research Fellows Program in the fall of 2022, with the deadline to apply on Sept. 1. Augie Access Program Student Develops Life Skills, Finds Community at Augustana University
Augie Access provides young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive transition and postsecondary program designed to increase career employment, social, academic and independent living outcomes — the only post-secondary comprehensive transition program in South Dakota. Augie Access Program student John James wanted the “full college experience,” and now, entering his second year of the program at Augustana University, his wish has come true.

Meghan Harold ‘22, of Parker, South Dakota, is triple majoring in accounting, business and finance, and plans to graduate from the Augustana Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) Program in December. In part due to connections at Augustana University, the Air Force veteran was able to land an internship at Ernst & Young, LLP this summer in Cleveland, Ohio.
