The Donors Making Augustana Men’s Hockey and Midco Arena a Reality: Craig and Pat Lloyd
In October 2021, Augustana University announced that it will be home to the Viking Men’s Hockey program — set to take the ice in the fall of 2023. Craig and Pat Lloyd, longtime Sioux Falls residents and business owners, are supporting one of the zambonis or ice resurfacers at Midco Arena, as well as an endowed scholarship.

Augustana University Launches Online Master of Education Program in Applied Behavior Analysis
Augustana University’s Sharon Lust School of Education is proud to announce that it is offering a new area of specialization within the Master of Education in Special Education program that was launched in 2019. A concentration in applied behavior analysis (M.Ed. SPED — ABA) will be offered online beginning in the fall of 2022.

AU Class in Costa Rica Combines Grand Adventure with Hands-On Learning: ‘I’m going to take this with me the rest of my life.’
How does surfing in warm water adjacent to sandy beaches and a lush tropical jungle sound? How about hiking an active volcano, white water rafting or swimming in a blue pool beneath a waterfall? Along with Associate Professor of Exercise and Sport Sciences Dr. Shane Scholten and his wife, 20 Augustana University students had the opportunity to experience all of these things over the course of 20 days in Costa Rica.
