Biography
Dr. George Nasr joined the mathematics department at Augustana in Fall 2023. He attended California Lutheran University as an undergraduate. His time there inspired his interest in being at a small liberal arts university as a professor. He is both excited and grateful for the opportunity to be at Augustana University, which is much like his undergraduate institution.
After getting his Ph.D., Nasr was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Oregon. His research generally lies in combinatorics, which he likes to describe as "counting, but without actually counting."
