Biography
Hosea Kost joined Augustana in September 2022 as an alumni and event services specialist after graduating with a M.A. in communication from the University of South Dakota. Shortly after, he was promoted to director of alumni engagement and event services. In his role, Kost connects Augustana's alumni network of over 30,000 graduates and coordinates events both on and off campus.
Prior to Augustana, Kost was a marketing specialist with Sanford Health Plan and a marketing intern with Sanford Sports. Kost is a 2020 graduate of Augustana and received a B.A. in sport management, media studies and anthropology. He was heavily involved on campus in multiple leadership roles, was a men's basketball student assistant and an Augustana Choir singer.
