Biography
Dr. Jennapher Lunde Seefeldt is an associate professor of government & international affairs. She teaches comparative politics and international relations courses. Broadly speaking, her research examines the factors that influence levels of democracy or hybridity within countries. Her particular interest is in the politics of natural resources, specifically oil and lithium. She has published in several academic journals and news organizations online. Lunde Seefeldt's region of focus has been Latin America, with plans to expand comparative research to other locations. She is the campus faculty advisor for COUPS (the university's political science student organization), Augustana's chapter of IGNITE and co-advisor for the Critical Languages Scholarship (CLS). She joined Augustana from a position at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Lunde Seefeldt earned a B.A. in government & international affairs from Augustana College (University) and M.A. and Ph.D. in political science from Northeastern University.
