The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana University opens “Comptoir de Commerce: Luminal — Ceramics by Chotsani Elaine Dean,” which will be on view through Thursday, March 6. The Augustana University Department of Art will host the Dean on Wednesday, March 5, and Thursday, March 6, where she will be meeting with a range of classes. A closing gallery reception will take place from 7-9 p.m. on March 6, with Dean’s artist talk at 7:30 p.m.

The infamous Nyberg’s Ace Gjallarhorn at Augustana University’s Midco Arena has been suspended on the northeast corner of the building since opening in 2024. Now, thanks to alumni Kevin Nyberg '79, Dr. Mark Berdahl ‘81 and Dean Versteeg ‘82, Viking fans can view the gjallarhorn up close and at eye level during NCAA Division I Augustana Men’s Hockey games. Augustana University, Active Generations Partner to Promote Positive Aging, Lifelong Learning
Augustana University and Dr. Lucas Hamilton, assistant professor of psychology and director of the aging studies program, are partnering with Active Generations — a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting positive aging for adults. The partnership will kick off with the 2025 Lifelong Learning Program, where Hamilton will host a series of interactive TED Talk-style sessions at both of Active Generations’ locations. Vikings Partner With Vikings and Other NCAA Institutions to Launch Collegiate Women’s Flag Football League
Augustana announced that the university is partnering with the Minnesota Vikings and five other NCAA institutions to launch a new collegiate women’s flag football league. Participating schools include AU, Concordia College Moorhead, Gustavus Adolphus College, Bethel University, the University of Northwestern, St. Paul and University of Wisconsin, Stout.
