Augustana University today announced students who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year.

Steven Tims ‘11 is the director of operations at Raven Industries, but his career began at the company more than 10 years ago as an intern during his sophomore year at Augustana. 

Augustana University students elected Courtney Chrystal ‘23 and Mekhi Moore ‘23 as the Augustana Student Association (ASA) president and vice president for the 2021-22 academic year. 

Augustana University recently honored several faculty members with awards, three of which were announced at the 2021 Commencement Ceremony, held on Saturday, May 22, at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.

Augustana's nursing program has increased its NCLEX pass rate by 4% since 2018, positioning the university at the top of South Dakota’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs. 

Lizzie Hansen has been out in the workforce for nearly a year, but on Saturday, May 22, she will have the rare opportunity to come back to her alma mater to speak to her graduating class at Kirkeby-Over Stadium, as the COVID-19 pandemic prevented the Class of 2020 from having a traditional commencement ceremony.

On Saturday, May 22, Cole Tessendorf will address the Class of 2021, more than 400 of his fellow students, at Augustana University’s undergraduate commencement ceremony to be held at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.

Jennie Holland, Health Sciences Program manager of the nursing department, is the recipient of the 2021 Augie Pride Award.

Augustana University is excited to announce a $50 million housing plan focused on new and enhanced facilities that will serve the educational, spiritual and holistic needs of Augustana’s students and staff, as well as inspire others in the community who utilize its campus.
