Colloquiums
The Augustana School of Music hosts colloquiums on Thursdays from 3-3:50 p.m. — designed to provide a more comprehensive and interactive educational experience. This format includes special topic discussions relevant to the School of Music, studio classes in which instrument families and voice students can perform for one another, as well as jury previews in a recital setting — all aimed at fostering deeper collaboration and preparation among music students.
School of Music Handbook
The Augustana University School of Music Handbook contains graduation requirements for music majors and requirements for non-music majors participating in ensembles and studying applied music. Students graduate with the handbook that accompanies the year they entered Augustana.
