Teen Town
As you perhaps know, the Salvation Army’s Toy Town program provides food for families, as well as gifts for children through age twelve. Teenagers do not receive gifts. In past years, the Holiday Clearing House worked in cooperation with the Salvation Army’s Toy Town to operate Teen Town. This year, Augustana College is honored with the opportunity to head the program for the 2012 Christmas season. Augustana College's Serving and Learning Together (SALT) organization is coordinating the Teen Town Program in conjunction with the Salvation Army's Toy Town project in Sioux Falls.
Teen Town allows parents to choose a gift for their teenager once they have chosen gifts for their smaller children through the Salvation Army. Your generosity means all children in each family will enjoy a holiday gift! Without your gift, this will not happen!
We hope that you are already considering sponsoring a teen(s) for the holidays this year by providing gifts in the $20-$25 range. The gifts will need to be brought to Augustana College's Commons building please turn into the college on the intersection of 30th and Grange Ave.
