Biography 

Matt Tylutki is from Austin, Minnesota, and is a graduate of St. Olaf College with a bachelor's degree in music education. He also has a master's degree in organ performance from the University of South Dakota. He has studied organ with Ruth Monson, Dr. Catherine Rodland and Dr. Jared Ostermann. Following St. Olaf, Matt served as principal organist at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. He now serves as the director of children’s and youth Music at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, where he runs the First Lutheran Church Choir School, a K-12 music education program led by the Lutheran tradition. Matt is also an active leader in church music and organist organizations, which include his role as the assistant manager for the Royal School of Church Music Midwest Summer Choral Residency program and as the Orgelkids coordinator and communications director for the South Dakota chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He is married to his wife, Rosie, and they delight in spoiling their dog, Dillon, with many toys and treats.
