Augustana University is excited to announce that its eighth annual Giving Day will take place on Friday, May 10 — a 24-hour fundraising event that encourages alumni, parents, staff, faculty, coaches, administrators and friends to “Give Boldly.”
An investment on Giving Day 2024 fuels Augustana’s momentum to make strides in the university’s strategic plan, Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030, and carry out its mission to provide an education of enduring worth. A gift to The Augustana Fund provides essential resources to support mission-critical priorities at the university. Thanks to the philanthropic support of our alumni and friends, Augustana is able to provide 100% of its students with financial aid and/or scholarships.
“Giving Day is a day for alumni, family and friends to express our Viking pride and spirit. With every gift we open the door to opportunities for students who enter to learn and leave to serve. I encourage each of us to give as we can to sustain excellence, transform lives and empower the next generation of leaders,” said Chief Strategy Officer & Executive Vice President Dr. Pam Homan ‘81.
