Augustana’s Eide/Dalrymple Gallery Features 100 Years of Homecoming Alumni Art Invitational
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana University features “The Homecoming 100th Anniversary: Alumni Art Invitational,” which is on view through Saturday, Sept. 23, during Viking Days 2023. A homecoming gallery reception will take place on Friday, Sept. 22, from 7-9 p.m., with a gallery talk at 7:30 p.m.

Augustana University Welcomes More Than 2,100 Students in Academic Year 2023-24
The university is excited to announce that a total of 2,158 students chose to find their bold at Augustana for Academic Year 2023-24. Hailing from 42 states and 57 foreign countries, the number marks the largest student body in 44 years at Augustana.
Dr. Roxanne Stevens Named Dean of the Augustana School of Business
Augustana is proud to announce that Dr. Roxanne Stevens has been named the university’s new dean of the School of Business. Stevens began serving in her role in mid-August. Stevens is working on both a short- and long-term plan for the School of Business that includes growth initiatives, community partnerships and student engagement opportunities — such as additional internships, student organizations and honor societies.
Augie Doggie Back in the Best Way
Augustana University introduced today its newest mascot Ace, the Augie Doggie, sponsored by Nyberg’s Ace. The 6-month-old English Cream Golden Retriever has been engaging with students and staff, as well as attending various university and community events — serving as a goodwill ambassador for Augustana, alongside Ole the Viking.
Degree in 3: Augustana University to Offer Pathway to Earn Bachelor’s Degree in Three Years

Each year, Alumni Achievement Awards are presented to Augustana University alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their fields of endeavor, communities and/or churches. The Horizon Award recognizes young alumni who have graduated within the last 15 years and quickly demonstrated outstanding vocational achievement and provided faithful service to their community and/or church.
Augustana University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program Exceeds Enrollment Goal for Inaugural Cohort
The Augustana University Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program — the university’s first doctorate program — welcomed its inaugural cohort in June and exceeded its enrollment goal by five students. The DPT program enrolled 85 students into the Class of 2025, and an additional six chose to defer to the cohort beginning in 2024.
Augustana Research Institute Requesting Applications From Area Organizations
The Augustana Research Institute (ARI) is seeking applications from eligible organizations to partner with the Beacom Research Fellows Program in the fall of 2023, with the deadline to apply on Sept. 1. The program, endowed by Miles and Lisa Beacom, provides organizations with limited resources access to research, analytics and field-specific expertise in operations and data management.
